This website is owned and operated by Parallel Worlds, a trading name of Parallel Worlds (Books) Limited which is registered in England. Users of this website are bound by these Terms and Conditions and should read this document before proceeding. Use of this website and information on this website is subject to the Terms and Conditions set out in this document.
Parallel Worlds has, under their sole discretion, the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice. Any changes will be posted within this document. By use of this website, the Customer accepts that they are bound by the Terms and Conditions as they are written in this document. The Customer should check this document regularly.
Forming a Contract
When the Customer places an order to purchase a product from this website, this order is a formal offer to purchase the mentioned product(s).
Upon receipt of the Customer’s order, Parallel Worlds will send the Customer a confirmation email detailing their order including the price for delivery.
A contract between the Customer and Parallel Worlds will come into effect when Parallel Worlds take payment from the customer for the purchase of the product(s).
Pricing
All prices on this website are in £ GBP and include sales tax (VAT) where appropriate.
Parallel Worlds makes every effort to ensure that the contents listed on this website are correct. However, errors may occur and Parallel Worlds reserves the right to alter product prices and information on this website without notice. Other reasons for price alterations may include (but are not limited to) an increase in production costs or taxation changes.
In the event that Parallel Worlds changes the price of an item due to an error, the following Terms apply. Parallel Worlds will inform the Customer as soon as possible and inform the customer of the correct price. The Customer may choose to fulfil their order at the new price or cancel their order. If the Customer chooses to cancel their order and has already paid for the item(s) in question, Parallel Worlds shall refund the full amount in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Parallel Worlds is under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product that was advertised with an inaccurate price or description.
Ownership of goods does not pass into the hands of the Customer until Parallel Worlds has received full payment.
Availability
Where a release date is displayed on this website, that date is subject to change in accordance to information received from the supplier of that item. Parallel Worlds will not be held responsible if the release of that item is delayed, brought forward or cancelled. Where a new product release is cancelled, Parallel Worlds will cancel the Customer’s order. If payment has already been taken for the item(s) in question, Parallel Worlds shall refund the full amount in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
From time to time Parallel Worlds may sell Limited Edition products on this website. The availability of these items is strictly on a ‘first come first served’ basis. Parallel Worlds will endeavour to fulfil every Customer’s order. However, if supply of the Limited Edition is exhausted, and the Customer’s order cannot be fulfilled, Parallel Worlds will cancel the Customer’s order. If payment has already been taken for the goods in question, Parallel Worlds shall refund the full amount in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Parallel Worlds will not be responsible for compensating the Customer for any other losses connected with the cancellation of orders.
Delivery and Shipping
All deliveries will be made to the Shipping Address that the Customer provides on their order. Parallel Worlds cannot be held responsible for errors in the supplied shipping address so customers should ensure that the information is correct.
Parallel Worlds reserves the right to refuse to deliver to an address that it believes may not be secure. In this event, Parallel Worlds will inform the Customer as soon as possible.
Parallel Worlds will not be liable to the Customer in the event that we are prevented from delivering a package that the Customer has ordered by circumstances beyond our control.
Orders with a delivery address outside of the United Kingdom may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once a delivery reaches the Buyer’s destination country. Any such additional charges are to be borne by the Buyer. The Buyer should note that customs policies and practices vary from country to country so we recommend that Buyers contact their local customs office for more information. Parallel Worlds are not responsible for any import duties or customs charges that international orders may be subject to.
Right to Cancel
The Customer may cancel their order, or part of their order, for any reason, up to the time when the order is shipped. In the event that the Customer wishes to cancel their order, the Customer may do this by sending an e-mail to our Customer Services Department (sales@parallel-worlds.co.uk). Please supply as many details of the order as possible such as Order Number, Buyer’s Name and Item.
Once an order has been shipped it cannot be cancelled. However, the Customer may return the item for a refund. The Customer may do this by sending an e-mail to our Customer Services Department (sales@parallel-worlds.co.uk). Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
In the event that an item is defective, faulty or sent in error by Parallel Worlds, the customer should contact Parallel Worlds to arrange the return of the item. The Customer may do this by sending an e-mail to our Customer Services Department (sales@parallel-worlds.co.uk).
Parallel Worlds will either offer a replacement or a refund for the cost of the item. The Customer must return the item to Phoenix Giftware within 30 days of receipt of the goods to qualify for a refund.

We do not accept responsibility for the content of any external sites. The customer may not remove any copyright, trademark or intellectual property notice from any material downloaded from this website.

Vouchers and Discount Codes
The Customer must be over 18 years of age to purchase Gift Vouchers from this website.
The Customer may purchase between £5 and £100 worth of Gift Vouchers in a single transaction.
If a Customer applies an excess of Voucher Credit to an order, Parallel Worlds will only use the correct amount of Site Credit to complete the purchase.
In the event that a Customer shares an Parallel Worlds order between their Gift Voucher and their credit/debit card, Parallel Worlds will charge the Customer’s Gift Voucher first and their credit/debit card second.
In the event that Parallel Worlds offers the Customer a refund on an order shared between a Customer’s Gift Voucher and their credit/debit card, Parallel Worlds will refund the Customer’s credit/debit card first and their Gift Voucher second.
Gift Vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
