Alastair (1887-1969) was Hans Henning Voight’s pseudonym and he inherited Aubrey Beardsley’s mantle. Loving the theatre and the occult he illustrated Oscar Wilde’s works Choderlos de Laclos’s Les Liaisons Dangereuses and the Abbe Prevost’s Manon Lescaut.
